I second Idriss the food cooked well. I also think the current owners are korean as well.
There is a vegan lunch box.
I suggest you to call them to confirm the open hours in advance.
Yes, there are individual tables.
Yes!
Amazing food, friendly staff and you get plenty food. First timers doing the "All you can eat" don't order anything else until you finish what you have, or you'll get a 10$ per person waste fee. Over all was well worth it
Not a bad dining experience tonight. Personally I would stick with the Chicken and Brisket. They kinda threw off our mojo by helping out. They dumped all our chicken and pork onto the grill and then walked away. The house sauce without the raw onions is also the way to go. FYI they also add a 18% tip on your bill regardless if the deserved it or not. I will have to say the Korean BBQ we visited in Tacoma was 100% better.
We've went to Bando for years and have always enjoyed the experience, whether just the two of us or with a group of friends.Things we love:*Decent prices for good authentic Korean food*Good selection of BBQ meats*Very attentive staff*Accommodating to groups*All you can eat option of the most popular meats (minus shrimp)Things I don't love: *All you can eat BBQ now includes a mandatory gratuity, which isn't mentioned until your bill arrives.*They no longer accept American Express
They dont tell you they automatically add a 15% gratuity. Which is a shame because I always tip 20%
This was my first time going here and boy was it great! I'm a very big eater and I couldn't finish two of the dishes they offered. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you're feeling like eating some good ethnic food or would like to treat someone to a nice semiformal meal. However, I think this place may be a bit on the pricier side if you're casually eating. Nonetheless, definitely give this a try!
This place is magnificent!!! We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. The food has always been tasty, and the staff is always welcoming and friendly! Hands down one of our favorite restaurants in Indy!
Excellent meal. Short ribs is so surprisingly tender. Fresh and crisp lettuce, we like. Great service as always. Highly recommend.
Excellent service. Excellent food. Dont miss the Pork sautee for lunch.
This was amazing! After having Korean BBQ in Korea Town, LA for the first time I never thought I'd find a place to compare in Indy, but I did! Not only is the food amazing so is the price for all you can eat! What's even better though is the super friendly staff who make you feel at home immediately. I highly recommend it.
Haven't have this authentic Korean food in a while. They are really good! They are generous with banchan. (Small side dishes)And staff are friendly. Bibimbap is good!I definitely recommend this restaurant.
It is awesome, you just gotta go there....
I admire this venue a lot. It has a very nice ambiance. The meals are superb. the service is dynamic and the personel is very professional. The cost is satisfactory. truly recommend.
The food was good. First time trying this food concept. My issue with this restaurant is the 18% gratuity the waitress attempted to add. I deducted and recalculated. 10 % to 15 % is what my norm is and that is what I tipped
I told my friends about this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is flavorable and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we enjoy a gorgeous time. highly recommended.
This is the best Korean in Indy. The place is always packed with a mix of people and the food is amazing, too. Dinner starts with tiny dishes full of a wide selection of appetizers, included with your meal. Del Sols (the stone pots in the picture) are sizzling bowls with rice, veggies, protein of choice and eggs. You then stir them up as the rice continues to crisp on the super hot stone bowl. Finally, it used to be that if you paid cash, you get a deep discount on price. I didn't ask the last time I was there because I didn't have enough cash anyway but worth asking if you do.
One of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in town. The other being a mile up the road. Offers both BBQ and Dine-in service. This is only place outside of California and New York to offer myeolchi bokkeum (spicy anchovies) as a banchan (Korean side dishes), my personal favorite. The waitstaff is very friendly and made us feel welcomed every time we visited.
First time eating Korean BBQ-- everything was great! We really enjoyed all of the sides, and the little charcoal grill in the middle of the table imparted a lovely flavor to the meat. Admittedly the all-you-can-eat BBQ is expensive---but it's all you can eat meat, so it should be. Service was good; will definitely come back!
They serve big dishes and for reasonable rates. welcoming owner. 5 stars from me.
This was my first experience with Korean BBQ and I am absolutely in love with this place. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was super friendly. The price for unlimited was decent for the amount of food we ate, but I would definitely recommend doing the unlimited with at least a party of four people. I will be back to this restaurant as often as I can make it. I would give this place 7 stars if the system would allow me.
Everything was really tasty we did the all you can eat BBQ had a blast my favorite was the bulgogi. Can not wait to go back and try what else they have to offer. The staff also did an announcement over the sound system and did a song with an LED tamborine for our friends Birthday it was fantastic we all had a blast. The BBQ you can cook yourself or they will assist you if you need help.
The food and service are amazing! My fiance and I ordered the all-you-can-eat BBQ, and the staff helped us cook the meat and explain what everything was. I just kept eating because everything was so tasty and now I'm overly full but it was worth it.
From the moment that you enter the restaurant, the aroma of Korean BBQ engulfs you. The server was very polite and efficient. He ensured that we had what we needed and answered any questions that we had. I even appreciated one of the women working at Bando for stopping and showing a more productive way to grill my protein. This is only the 2nd time that I've had Korean BBQ, and I enjoy the experience. The food is good and the different types of relish and Kimchi are great!
My husband and I tried this place out for the first time tonight, and let me tell you, we will 100% be going back. We had never had an experience like this before and everyone was so kind and understanding, which was a big bonus because we both have ridiculous anxiety. They showed us what to do and recommended good flavor combos. Everything is fresh and delicious. The meal I had tonight is easily one of the top five meals I have ever eaten. No two bites are the same and there are so many textures and flavors to play with.
This place exceeded my expectations!!! It was my first time eating Korean BBQ like this! Food was delicious!! Staff was so super nice and attentive! Will be back!!
Different. The all you can eat is $30. Plus they put the tip on it without you knowing it. You smell like smoke when you leave. The sides all were nasty but the meat was good. I'd go again if someone else was buying.
